Smokin’ Cupid

This week, we’re celebrating the 3rd Annual Cupid’s Hunt (CH) Podcasting Extravaganza. More than 20 podcasters will drop a “love themed” episode with their respective flavors and I got to make sure the Friday Favecast (FFC) represents lovely.

On the first ever CH, I brought Eve into the studio and we answered your questions on love as newlyweds. Two years later, she’s coming back on the mic and we’re here to talk about all aspects of love (not just the warm and fuzzy ones).

We need your inquires or topics of love on which you’d like us to pontificate – this will make the CH edition of the FFC more engaging, entertaining and fun. We still have the hottest soul and progressive hip hop from across the land to help you marinate on the commentary.

Check out the video for more information and thanks in advance for your support :)

Aftermath

In this edition we are back from L.A. after an incredible time at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards. It was an incredible time full of fantastic memories, music and laughter — so it’s only right that we bring you a copious amount of that same energy right here. Discover the newness from GRAMMY® nominated producer, Brett “BDubb” Baker as well as an EXCLUSIVE remix from GRAMMY® nominated soulster, Eric Roberson and live performance of GRAMMY® nominated group, Foreign Exchange (you like how I keep using GRAMMY® nominated, don’t ya? *lol*). Be sure to feast your ears on some new artists as well as a soothing remix from DJ Markus Gramm.

Throughout this journey, I’ve sprinkled in some GRAMMY® thoughts I captured while in L.A. and find out about the Contemporary Bluegrass Techno House category as we re-cap the GRAMMYS® by continuing to celebrate great music.

Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend ;)

Grown is Sexy

In this edition we’re celebrating the life of soul legend, Teddy Pendergrass, who passed away on 13 January. I struggled with how I would pay homage to such an amazing icon, amid the impending onslaught of Teddy P. tribute mixes and podcasts, without being redundant. Instead of dropping my favorite songs from the Teddy Bear, [...]

In this edition we have another incredible mashup from DJ Markus Gramm. He’s blended two of my favorite soul contributors for the first official FFC of 2010. Choklate has a wonderful spirit who does a phenomenal job capturing real life and emotions. Darien Brockington aka D-Brock has been holding down Little Brother, Justus League and [...]
