Connection: Foreign Exchange on the FFC

Favecast, Featured Articles Post by

In this edition we have a very eclectic mixture of soul, electronica and progressive hip hop from around the world - destined to put your mind and ears in "chill mode." Be warned, we're going there in this edition as we stretch your audible palette with Quadron, Brittany Bosco, Slakah the Beatchild, Emiliana Torrini and other obscure sounds itching to be a part of your playlist. We'll discover how to tap into the power of (different) partnerships as we improve our overall health via the health update. The dynamic duo, Nicolay & Phonte aka FOREIGN EXCHANGE, join us to discuss their new album, "City Lights vol 2: Shibuya" hitting stores this Tuesday (9/15). In addition to the album (featuring the talented Carlitta Durand, Zo!, et al), we explore the formation of their indie label and how social media (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, etc.) has impacted their music. Good music + helpful health tips + one of my favorite MCs and producers = an incredible way to celebrate the weekend and enjoy life. I encourage you to join the party ;) Click here to download the MP3 version or use the player below. ~The Playlist~ The Whatanauts - Message From a Black Man (instrumental) Panacea - Flashback to Stardom [DJ Spinna Remix] Slakah the Beatchild - Now a Daze feat. It’s really cool to finally hear FE(Phonte & Nicolay) points of view when it comes to their thoughts on the music industry, their music, what’s ahead for them…I dig getting “behind the scenes” glimpses of gifted musicians. This is why people come back to your podcasts time and time again…Keep hitting ‘em outta the park bro.

    Be Blessed
