movies from the 80s are NOT OLD!!! GET IT STRAIGHT YOU TWO!!! LMBO!!! Beyond that this is one of BEST shows I have heard in a minute. I love the conversation and I think I may write a post on this subject. I have never dated outside my race but Dr. Love’s mom told her right in reference to the higher your education the slimmer the pickings (not saying there are not good brothas out there because we are) and on the other end, Fave, you hit the nail on the head…so and I stress, so many sistas in the work force do not make eye contact with us men of color (whooo that is a touchy subject for me. Excellent show my brother!!!
The music: Anything Marsha blesses, I’m with it. The line “frontin like they diamonds when they cubic ziconia, ill”. Yahzrah track is ill with Miles Davis in the back and Raheem in the front with her. The Tony Brock joint is lush, it hast those Barry White/Love Unlimited Orchestra strings on really feeling that one. Surprised to like the cut by Day26, I don’t do anything (since Big) that is associated with Diddy but the track is nize. Esperanza is swinging. As for Maxwell, breathlessly awaiting the album drop like everyone else.
Health Tip: congrats and keep up the good work
Dr Reallove: This one hits home, my home in fact. I’m from IN and went to undergrad probably at the big school you went to which I can say is I.U. Interracial dating is not uncommon, the racism is very common. Dr Realove’s advice was dead-on.
Great show.
