In this edition we’re wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with a modicum of musical gifts

With the success of the “Sadaxwell Edition” (thanks for downloading), I decided to drop a mashup of another dynamic soul duo. Lalah Hathaway has one of the most soulful, rich voices I’ve ever heard while Eric Roberson serves as a shining example of the indie soul grind done right. Their recent duet, “Dealing,” is our generations’ “Secret Lover” — in its audible and visual delivery.

So my FIRST gift to you is two-fold: a special blend of my favorite Lalah and Erro tunes mixed by DJ Markus Gramm. He’s an elusive brother, but i hope we all hear more from him in the twenty-ten
