BWAs + JayQ+A

3 august 2007

In this edition we kick off the first week of nominations for the Black Weblog Awards by talking to the founder, Karsh, about how to vote, the nuances of this year’s awards process and how this national blog phenomenon seeks to bridge the various flavors of the African-American experience online. BE SURE TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE BLACK WEBLOGS BEFORE AUGUST 15TH!!!

JayQ pulls no punches in his new segment, JayQ+A, as he gives sugar-free, male perspectives to your love and relationship questions. This week, he seeks to solve “the case of the mistaken underwear.” His commentary is a must listen ;)

We also have entertainment news (you won’t believe who’s breaking up now!), a Fave Fitness Tip you might not like, but definitely need to hear and a festive stroll through Cyberspaceage Soul to get your internet experience on the good foot…

A new month. New design. New energy. And it’s all good :D

Until next time…

~Fave

Thanks again for another insightful, entertaining netcast. I may not agree with everything Jay-Q says from time to time but for the most part his comments are on the mark. I agree that many people do not take time to heal and become a “whole” person before moving to another relationship. You know I will check out the sites you mentioned and thanx for sharing them. I totally agree with you in reference to the bridge collapsing, the US although is a great country but we have the habit of being a “reactive” nation instead of a “proactive” nation. Thanks for pointing that out sir.

The song you performed with your son was pretty cool. Keep up the good work brother and thank you for sharing your gifts with the masses.

I thought Snipes was supposed to play the action hero The Black Panther…I guess that fell through.

    Be Blessed.
